Modern Extortion, Trip Advisor

There is new thief on the business front; Tripadvisor.com. They are one of many companies that extort from businesses, "advertising" money.
Buddha has many businesses, and many of them need the internet to survive. They use the good of that wonderful tool for promotion. Companies like Trip Advisor ask you to advertise. If you don't, they allow "anonymous reviews", which to say the least, are derogatory. In my case they are outright lies. I have had extensive communication with them about the problem and they endemnify themselves from the "anonymous" writers.
Let's see,  Trip Advisor basically tell you that if you do not advertise with me, Trip Advisor is powerful enough to buy top position on all the searches that you need to survive; tell prospective customers that you stink and that we have alternative businesses to yours, who advertise with Trip Advisor and use anonymous reviewers to destroy your business.
We have a new criminal in town and Trip Advisor is just the beginning.
